Today, we’re one of the largest interior/exterior finish contractors in the U.S., with offices throughout the country and a reputation for excellence.  As Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project success by managing procurement activities, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring materials and equipment are available to meet project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure materials are available when needed. 
• Processing purchase orders
• Tracking deliveries
• Coordinating with project managers
• Maintaining inventory
• Supporting warehouse operations
• Solving day-to-day purchasing issues
• Obtain competitive pricing from established vendors and assist with pricing negotiations when needed. 
• Maintain positive working relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors as needed. 
• Participate in required company training programs and stay current with purchasing practices and technology.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• 3–5 years of previous purchasing or procurement experience required; experience in the carpentry or construction industry is a plus.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and other common business software.
• Working knowledge of the construction industry and related trades.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials commonly used for company construction projects.
