The Impact You’ll Make

As Total Medical Imaging's  Credentialing Specialis t, you are the engine that keeps our teleradiology network running. By managing the end-to-end credentialing lifecycle, you ensure our radiologists are licensed, privileged, and ready to provide life-saving diagnostic services. Your meticulous eye for detail is what ensures 100% compliance and zero service disruptions for our clinical partners across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provider Verification: Conduct rigorous primary source verification for licenses, board certifications, and work history.
  • Licensure & Privileging: Lead licensure applications and manage the high-volume submission of privileging and reappointment files for remote clinical sites.
  • Payer Enrollment: Facilitate seamless enrollment and revalidation with Medicare (PECOS) and Medicaid to ensure uninterrupted client billing.
  • Data Integrity: Proactively maintain provider profiles in CAQH, NPDB, NPPES, and internal databases.
  • High-Touch Onboarding: Serve as the primary liaison for new radiologists, providing concierge-level support to expedite documentation and filings.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Experience: 2–3+ years in healthcare credentialing. (Experience in Radiology or Teleradiology is a massive gold star).
  • Technical Mastery: Skilled in CAQH, PECOS, and credentialing software.
  • Microsoft 365 & Reporting: Core competency in building spreadsheets and utilizing reporting, with proficiency in M365 (including Teams and SharePoint) for daily communication, file sharing, version control, and collaborative project management.
  • Certification: CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) is highly desired and reflected in compensation.
  • "Follow-Through" Mindset: Possesses extreme attention to detail and the persistence to chase down missing documents under strict deadlines.
  • Interpersonal & Follow-Up Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills with a proven track ability to execute consistent follow-up, ensuring project momentum and effective stakeholder alignment.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration preferred.
