With my method The Road of Champions we transform every technical gesture into a solid, effective and winning skill.
Over the years, I have come to understand one fundamental thing: without a solid technical foundation, no player can truly fulfill his or her potential.
In modern soccer there is a lot of talk about tactics, schemes and athletic preparation, but too often individual technique, the technique that allows a player to be truly free to express himself on the field, is overlooked.
And it is from this awareness that my method, The Road of Champions, was born.
The principle is simple: to build a great team you need great players. And every great player comes from a solid technical, character and mental foundation.
I have always been inspired by the best European football schools, particularly those in the Netherlands, France and Spain, where individual technique is considered a fundamental pillar of every footballer’s training.
My method is based on targeted drills, situational games and a teaching progression designed to take each player from technical gesture to its application in the game.
The goal is clear: to make you the master of the ball in every game situation, to increase your confidence on the field and to enable you to make a difference when it really counts.
It is a training path that through continuous research and updating has led me to accompany so many soccer players who today make technical skill their strong point.
The various World Cups have shown how the various Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, Modric, Zidane have made the technical ability their talent.
The mastery of situational ball handling has made them 3 schools of the world, the Dutch, French and Spanish schools that churn out players who have made a difference by making extraordinary and decisive plays because they can “give the ball away” better than any other footballer.
With this method, every athlete builds a solid foundation to excel in today’s soccer.
HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE COURSE:

Initiation and coverage of technical gestures.
I teach you to master every technical gesture, with drills that isolate and perfect every detail.
Through the repetition of the technical gesture under speed regime, the player will get closer to performing the technical gesture in a short time even in the absence of opponents. Fundamental in modern soccer.
I help you apply what you learn in real situations so that technique becomes a concrete weapon in the game.
You train yourself to read the game before others, anticipating your opponents’ moves.

This method is not just a set of exercises: it is a way of seeing soccer, experiencing it and teaching it.
It is the road I wanted to travel as a boy, and it is the road I can offer today to anyone who wants to become a true champion.
Want to improve your technique and take your game to the next level?
In twenty-eight years of experience, I have studied, experimented and perfected a method based on a teaching progression adapted to each level.
The Road of Champions is a comprehensive technical development course that combines analytical drills and game situations to refine each gesture with targeted repetition. The key is to vary the stimuli, keeping motivation high and making kids increasingly confident and masters of their skills.
This approach turns training into an ongoing challenge, pushing players to push their limits, improving technique, self-esteem and creativity.
Fun and growth go hand in hand: progressive and challenging exercises make each workout engaging, creating an environment where kids learn with enthusiasm and curiosity.
Too many young talents are not valued or stop playing because they get bored. The real goal? Training that makes them feel capable, motivated, and happy to return to the field every day.
The two basic and most important foundations of this method are:
That’s why it turns out to be a creative and very engaging method for kids.
Kids will be taught lots of movements and tricks to beat the opponent in the various situations that will arise in the game.
Especially in the 6- to 13-year-old stages, activity will be focused on these two priority aspects, which are the foundations of the learner’s complete development.
Between the ages of 6 and 13, technical development comes through sensitivity in ball touch. The goal is to transform each gesture into a natural, effortless action through targeted drills that respect the player’s growth stages.
The master technician has a key role: he or she must explain, demonstrate and correct, but above all, convey passion and confidence.
Only then does the student learn to express himself on the field with confidence and creativity.
Another pillar is the development of individual resourcefulness: overcoming the opponent, taking responsibility, believing in one’s own abilities. This attitude is built from an early age and becomes the basis for technical growth and team play.
My Method is based on learning 12 essential techniques:
And defensive phase techniques.
Technical skill learning is achieved through a constant number of repetitions carried out in all phases of training (from warm-up to final phase).
These skills must be learned with various stimuli according to this pattern:
The Road of Champions is a clear and progressive method accessible to instructors and coaches of all levels. Through targeted exercises, it develops technique, coordination and speed of execution, adapting to the abilities of every player, from amateurs to professionals.
In addition to technical skills, it stimulates confidence, creativity and resourcefulness, pushing athletes to find solutions on their own. Coaching based on positive reinforcement helps each player overcome his or her limitations, making a positive impact on and off the field.
Experience in youth sectors shows that this approach makes training more engaging and soccer a continuous growth experience.
Each player will go on to refine essential technical skills based on the role and the various specific areas of the field he or she occupies in the game.
Children are self-centered by nature: you work on I, the ball and 1 vs. 1, teaching control and overcoming the opponent.
Collaboration is introduced: reception and passing, the fundamentals of team play, are refined.
You consolidate skills and go on to specialize individual technical and tactical skills depending on the specific role and areas of the field.
Each soccer player can perfect himself through methodical individual training, refining his technical background and developing greater tactical awareness.
With years of experience in youth sectors and sports federations, Ivan Zauli has refined an innovative teaching method that accelerates technical learning and engages athletes in a motivating and challenging journey.
His ability to explain, demonstrate and correct each technical gesture clearly and effectively enables players to gain mastery, speed of execution and confidence on the court.
His approach, based on targeted progression and repetition, has been shown to bring tangible improvements in a short period of time, surprising coaches and players by its effectiveness and impact on performance.
Thanks to this methodology, more and more soccer players and coaches are discovering how individual technique can make a difference in modern soccer, turning talent into concrete and decisive skills for success on the field.
