Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start date 05/26/2026 for multiple weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $2,177–$2,216. Travel - temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours. Unit operates within a hospital setting and requires the ability to float within the department as needed. Travel status excludes local candidates.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across the ED population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, obtain 12-lead EKGs, and coordinate care with rapid response and other specialists
- Perform triage, stabilize patients, administer medications, and document care in the electronic charting system (EPIC)
- Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Interpretation Services, and Unit Secretary teams to ensure timely patient flow
- Adhere to unit protocols and hospital proctored rhythm identification requirements; complete required Relias and Healthstream training modules
- Maintain equipment readiness (Omnicell medication system) and ensure patient safety throughout the shift

Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand at submission; NY RN license required at submission; submit recent Nursys
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, NIH/NIHSS; preferred: ACLS, TNCC, Level I trauma, triage experience
- Experience: Preferred 5 years current ED experience; agency compliance note requires minimum 2 years in ED specialty; travel experience preferred
- Education: Registered Nurse with appropriate ED training; ability to work in an ED environment
- Clinical competencies: telemetry experience, rhythm interpretation, dysrhythmia management, charting in EPIC
- Other: Must pass hospital proctored rhythm identification exam; able to float within hospital per skillset; willingness to work nights and weekends; full compliance with vaccination policies per facility requirements
