Dynamic Strength and Condition is NH’s #1 gym for adult coed strength and conditioning.

How do we do this? Our coaching team is highly educated, growth minded and has a service mentality.

DSC is veteran and woman owned. We set ourselves apart from other gyms because we care deeply about service and will obsess over our customer experience in order to help our community stay consistent in achieving wellness.

We are located in Nashua, NH and offer coed adult group strength and conditioning classes with an average coach to member ratio of 1:8. We also have a women’s only group, private training, a growing athletic development program and youth camps.

The role of the DSC Performance Coach is to embody our mission to create the most fun and supportive workout environment for each DSC member.

Reports to: Chris Martin, Gym Floor Operations Director and Daria, Owner.

Our Mission

We help busy adults who need direction and support, who struggle with consistency to get/stay fit and healthy of both body and mind. We provide Professional , Coach led group training in a fun, challenging, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere that prioritizes community and support so that our members can be more present for their family and career.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Undergraduate degree in sports or health sciences (or equivalent industry experience)
• Obsesses about the DSC member experience and the small details that go into it
• Obsesses about doing what's best to help the team
• Has the desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful
• Has a growth mindset and wants to improve
• Maintains a positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for successes and failures
• Has a sharp focus on goals and a belief that daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and coach group classes, semi-private, and private one-on-one training sessions
• Coach a combination of morning, evening and weekend shifts (30-40 coaching hours/week)
• Be extremely hard-working and comfortable with early-mornings and long shifts
• Constantly seek opportunities to help and engage with members
• Ensure each member is greeted, connected with, and coached during every class and session
• Meet members where they are at and guide them to success
• Ensure DSC is the cleanest and most organized workout facility imaginable by preparing, organizing, and cleaning before, during, and after classes
• Have a team first mentality
• Arrive early each day to help the team prepare for the day
• Spend time with team before and after class hours
• Leave personal baggage at the door
• Bring an extremely positive attitude and energy to the team
• Engage in continuing education activities weekly and one larger course per year.
• Attend weekly staff meetings Wednesdays at 1pm.

• Coach with energy, positivity, and a smile
• Have a customer service focused mentality
• Learn and use all member’s names and develop a personal connection with each DSC member
• Create a welcoming, supportive, and comfortable class environment for new members and trials
• Participate in and add meaningful ideas to staff meetings
• Represent our team, mission, and community in and outside of DSC

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.43 - $24.60 per hour
