Job Summary

The local accounting team is looking for innovative people which has proactive approach with a mindset for problem-solving and constant improvement. The professional will work with accounting activities, monthly closing activities, analysis and monitoring of controls, variances, and performance indicators (KPIs). In addition to solid accounting knowledge, the role requires good communication and analytical and technological skills. The professional will work with SAP, BO (Business Objects Business Intelligence), Power BI and other systems, ensuring the accuracy of accounting information and providing relevant information for decision making.
This position is based at our Tetra Pak office in Denton, Texas. 
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

• Review of balance sheet, profit & loss statement, and analysis of variations.
• Carry out reconciliations of GL accounts and necessary adjustments.
• Monitoring performance indicators (KPIs).
• Book closing routines.
• Support for internal and external audits.
• Review existing processes and propose improvements.

We believe you have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance routines (reporting, financial statements, controls, process improvements).
• Experience in the ERP system – SAP – Finance.
• Knowledge about IFRS.
• Data analytics and digital skills.
• Microsoft Power Platforms and/or Knime skills will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in auditing is an advantage.
