Registered Nurse-Pediatric Oncology

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Pay Rate: $55/hr to $57/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Friday Monday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week

Experience: 2+ years of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience required

About the Role

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Pediatric Hematology/Oncology contract in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a weekend block day shift position supporting pediatric oncology patients. Candidates must have strong Pediatric Hem/Onc experience, chemotherapy certification, and the ability to work well with the care team.

Responsibilities

Provide care for pediatric Hematology/Oncology patients.
Administer treatments and medications safely.
Support chemotherapy-related care as assigned.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes.
Educate patients and families as needed.
Work closely with nurses, providers, and care teams.
Document care accurately in Epic.
Follow safety, infection control, and patient care standards.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license required.
2+ years of Pediatric Hem/Onc experience required.
BMT experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
PALS certification required.
APHON Chemotherapy certification required.
Epic experience required.
Flu vaccination required with no exemptions accepted.
Nicotine-free facility testing required with drug screen.
NURSYS license verification required for all active RN licenses.
RTO must be included at time of submission.
Local and travel candidates accepted.
