Job Description

Join our team in a fast-paced, high-tech environment! We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant / Fulfillment Specialist to work in our Automated Refill Center. In this role, you will handle essential warehouse operations-including picking, packing, receiving, and shipping prescriptions.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic production environment, possesses an acute attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Order Processing & Packing: Follow on-screen prompts to ensure all orders are accurately picked and packed according to program specifications. Fold and pack paperwork with prescriptions to prepare them for shipping.

Sorting & Logistics: Sort finished orders by store location, place them into designated totes, and load products into delivery trucks.

Workflow Operations: Perform daily warehouse operations (receiving, packing, shipping) while maintaining a continuous, consistent workflow to meet daily production goals.

Problem Resolution: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by recognizing, addressing, and promptly escalating operational issues to management.

Compliance & Safety: Understand and strictly abide by federal and state HIPAA laws and pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Certification: Active Pharmacy Assistant certification is required.

Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and carry 20-25 pounds regularly.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy while performing repetitive tasks.

Versatility: Ability to work productively and efficiently either independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Occasional mandatory overtime may be required to complete the daily workload.
