Position Overview: We are seeking a Mid-Senior Data Engineer to join the HR Talent Analytics team. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and enhancing data integrations and analytics solutions that support compensation, talent analytics, employee listening, workforce reporting, and other HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on AWS data engineering and infrastructure experience, along with prior experience working with HR systems, employee data, or People/Talent Analytics environments. Because this role involves access to highly sensitive employee and compensation information, strong attention to data security, accuracy, and confidentiality is essential. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining existing data pipelines and integrations, troubleshooting production issues, supporting new data ingestion and egress requirements, and responding to ad hoc HR data requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications: 4+ years of professional Data Engineering experience, or equivalent hands-on experience. Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based data/integration environments. Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, EventBridge, IAM, and VPC. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting production data pipelines and integrations. Experience developing data ingestion processes using APIs, SFTP, files, or cloud-based integrations. Experience with Terraform and GitHub. Strong SQL and/or Python experience. Experience working with HRIS, HR systems, employee data, People Analytics, Talent Analytics, or similar business data environments. Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and handling sensitive information. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience supporting compliance, EEOC, affirmative action, or workforce reporting.
