Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residential Maintenance Technician to join our Naperville community. In this role, you’ll ensure our property operates safely, efficiently, and beautifully—delivering a top-tier living experience for all residents. Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and tenants during every maintenance interaction.
• Perform maintenance and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building operations.
• Diagnose issues, repair or replace parts, test systems, and make adjustments to ensure long-term functionality.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare vacant units for move-in, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Maintain the property's grounds, cleanliness, and overall appearance , including snow removal and seasonal tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections and stay aware of market trends to keep our community competitive.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with fair housing laws, ADA requirements, and company safety policies .
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend work as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with washers/dryers, dish washers, refrigeration systems, HVAC units.
• Technical capacity and communication proficiency.
• Results-driven and initiative-oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Comfortable working overtime and on call when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds .
• Must have full range of motion including bending, walking, standing, and climbing.
• Vision requirements include: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment

This role operates in a residential apartment building, requiring access to all areas including apartments, mechanical rooms, common areas, and rooftops. The position demands physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Work occurs both indoors and outdoors throughout the year, with exposure to various physical conditions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Naperville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.

Health care paid time off paid holidays

This is a fully onsite position in Naperville,IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Apr 10, 2026.
