Position Summary The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager plays a critical role in the vehicle sales process by helping customers secure financing while presenting valuable protection products that enhance their ownership experience. This position is responsible for structuring deals, maintaining lender relationships, ensuring compliance, and maximizing profitability while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in securing financing options that best fit their needs and circumstances.
  • Present and sell vehicle protection products, warranties, service contracts, GAP coverage, and other F&I products.
  • Structure deals to maximize profitability while maintaining lender and dealership standards.
  • Submit credit applications, obtain lender approvals, and make sound credit decisions.
  • Prepare, review, and process all finance and insurance documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with dealership policies and all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and finance sources.
  • Accurately audit deals after delivery and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Monitor contract funding and ensure timely completion of all documentation required for funding.
  • Maintain all required certifications and training related to the F&I position.
  • Deliver a professional and exceptional customer experience throughout the financing process.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred; equivalent automotive finance experience will be considered.
  • Previous Finance & Insurance experience in an automotive dealership environment required.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Proven ability to structure deals for maximum profitability.
  • Understanding of title regulations, registration processes, and lender requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
