Construction Assistant Project Manager (Milwaukee, WI area)
BIG need in Milwaukee, WI for a Commercial Construction Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager ! An established and respected commercial general contractor is looking for an Construction Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer who has ground up commercial construction project experience. Applicable project experience for this Assistant Project Manager could include a work history of healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, mid/high-rise or other diverse commercial background . This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to develop into their own PM role and reach your career ambitions!
Qualifications for Assistant Project Manager (APM) :
* 3+ years of experience preferred as acting Assistant Project Manager
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
* Projects of $20MM or more desirable
* Stable work history with relatable construction experience
* Strong ground-up commercial construction experience (renovation or tenant improvement work will also be considered)
Responsibilities for Assistant Project Manager (APM) :
* Ensuring project success including safety, schedule, profitability, quality and customer satisfaction
* Assuring business development with client contacts, relationships, proposals, presentations and negotiations
* Establish professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors
* Administering contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements, etc.
* Coordination with the appropriate team members and business clientele
