Responsibilities

  • Set up production lines in a cleanroom environment according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble window frames accurately and safely.
  • Measure and mark materials using a tape measure and other measuring tools to ensure correct dimensions.
  • Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
  • Follow cleanroom procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or delays to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational needs.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Comfort using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
  • Basic proficiency with measuring tools and interpreting measurements.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime, including 50+ hours per week when required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Capability to work effectively in a cleanroom environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with medical assembly or cleanroom assembly is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with production line setup and line changeovers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position is based in a cleanroom production facility in Fairfield, OH. The role follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the expectation of working overtime, often exceeding 50 hours per week, depending on production needs. You will work on a production line using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other measuring instruments. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and adherence to cleanroom protocols, requiring consistent attention to detail and compliance with established procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
