Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday (hours not specified)

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic activities that improve functional abilities and daily living skills
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Oklahoma COTA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and occupational therapy principles
• Clinical documentation and accurate record keeping
• Implementing treatment plans under OT supervision
• Educating patients and caregivers effectively
• Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
• Adapting therapeutic activities to individual patient needs
