As an Assistant County Attorney - Litigation Specialist with Multnomah County's Office of the County Attorney , you will be a part of the County's in-house legal team. As a litigation generalist, you will manage a full caseload and handle all aspects of litigation from initial case analysis, responsive pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial and appeals in state and federal courts. Primary areas of responsibility will be state tort and employment litigation, 42 U.S.C.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to represent the County in a variety of complex legal areas with minimal direction and supervision. They have the ability to utilize problem solving and innovation to provide creative options to help clients achieve their goals. Highest quality legal work, strong work ethic, ability to work as an effective member of a legal team, and intellectual curiosity.
