What we offer
General Job Description : This is supervisory and administrative work monitoring operational activities on an assigned shift at a large municipal airport. An employee in this class directs the activities of operational personnel working on airfields or in terminals during a shift. An employee in this class monitors and directs airfield or terminal operations, security, safety, communications, ground transportation, and other activities related to the welfare of passengers, airlines, tenants, and the general public. Employees must be able to assess situations quickly and objectively and are expected to become proficient in determining and implementing proper courses of action in all functional areas as they progress within this class. Employees permanently allocated to this series of classes will automatically promote to this level through career progression. This is shift work and employees are required to work weekends and holidays. Work is performed under the supervision of an administrative superior.
The Requirements are as follows:
1. EDUCATION:
Completion of a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university, with major course work in aviation management, business administration or a related field.
AND
2. GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
One year of administrative and operational experience monitoring landside, airside or security activities.
AND
3. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience, above the trainee level, in monitoring landside, airside or security activities.
