Job Description

This role involves assembling neurosurgical sponges in a clean room environment using a thread and sewing needle. You will perform highly repetitive, detail-oriented work to support medical device production while following strict work instructions and clean room protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble neurosurgical sponges using a thread and sewing needle according to detailed work instructions.
  • Perform repetitive clean room assembly tasks with consistent quality and accuracy.
  • Follow all documented work instructions and standard operating procedures for medical device assembly.
  • Use hand tools and sewing needles safely and effectively during the assembly process.
  • Inspect components and finished products visually to ensure they meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent defects and ensure product integrity.
  • Adhere to all clean room rules, including gowning procedures and contamination control practices.
  • Support general production activities as needed within the clean room environment.
  • Meet production targets and timelines while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working in a clean room or similar controlled environment.
  • Hands-on assembly experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with medical device or medical assembly processes.
  • Ability to use hand tools and sewing needles safely and accurately.
  • Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills for detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions precisely and consistently.
  • Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Demonstrated reliability and good attendance record.

Work Environment

You will follow clean room gowning and attire requirements and use hand tools and sewing needles as part of your daily work. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
